Under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel Nick Grace OBE RM, Principal Director of Music Royal Marines. The Bands of Her Majesty s Royal Marines performed Beating Retreat and Ceremonial Sunset at the historic venue of Horse Guards Parade on 25th and 26th May, 2016. It is 100 years since the British Grand Fleet, under the command of Admiral Sir John Jellicoe, were making preparations in Scapa Flow, Orkney, prior to the defining sea battle of World War I which took place over the Jutland Bank on 31st May, 1916.
