- Synopsis:
An American businessman and his wife are summoned to London to oversee an impending business merger. Unknown to him, Matthew Barnes (Mike Binder) is being groomed to replace John Gissing (Alan Rickman), his British counterpart. Gissing, in the meantime, has seen the storm brewing for some time and has no intention of giving up his position without a fight. Instead, Gissing cunningly unleashes his inner Machiavelli and sends the American couple on a comical series of disastrous misadventures, in an attempt to turn their lives upside down and undermine his rival. From arriving late to key meetings, to a humiliating encounter with a French colleague, to finding himself in a compromising position with a lusty nun, life for Barnes becomes a living hell. - Actors:
