- Samantha (Courtney Cox), a travel writer suffering from agoraphobia, claustrophobia and a whole host of other phobias, watches as her psychologist suffers a major mental meltdown and is carried away. But instead of terminating her therapy, Samantha turns the tables, posing as the missing psychologist in an outrageous effort to manipulate her romantic fate with her hunky neighbor Michael ( David James Elliot), who needs a little help with his girlfriend and the eccentric magazine salesman, Henry (David Arquette). Absurd actions, chaotic neuroses and raging libidos add up to a classic screwball comedy as Samantha literally plays doctor with the men in her life....
