Far, far away, in a little mushroom village, live a group of little blue pixies in short trousers and white bonnets called The Smurfs. Only as tall as three apples, they speak in ''Smurf'', a language that only they understand. The Smurfs are carefree, peaceful creatures that live in harmony with nature. But they have a nasty habit of wanting to act like man, which causes them 1,001 problems.
1. Papa's Puppy Prescription (1985)Gargamel Casts a spell on Puppy that makes Puppy think he is a cat. Papa Smurf turns to his friend Homnibus to help him reverse the spell. Papa Smurf and the rest of the Smurfs all band together to fill the prescription to cure Puppy. When they finally cure Puppy, Gargamel gets too close and starts to think he is a cat instead.
2. Papa's Family Album (1985)
Papa Smurf shows the Smurflings his photo album as he wants the Smurflings to see how other Smurfs have grown up. Meanwhile Gargamel steals Mother Nature's wands. When Gargamel turns up in the village with the wands. Brainy uses Papa Smurf's magic pouch to cast a spell. With the help of the spell the wands are returned to Mother Nature.
3. Papa's Last Spell (1986)
Gargamel casts a spell to remove the ability to cast magic on Papa Smurf. Soon Papa Smurf realises that he can no longer cast magic and he tricks Gargamel into reversing his spell by making him think that instead of removing his power he has instead made Papa Smurf stronger.
4. Papa for a Day (1987)
Papa Smurf keeps getting interrupted by Smurfs needing his help. Grandpa Smurf decides that the Smurfs should all try and be Papa Smurf for a day. However each of the Smurfs doesn't really know what they are doing and cause more problems than they solve.
5. Papa's Big Snooze (1989)
When Brainy causes a slumber bug to bite Papa Smurf, Papa Smurf is forced into a deep magical sleep. The Smurfs are told by Master Mouse that the only cure for Papa Smurf is to be bitten by a Bonsai Beetle. Only found in the secret garden of the Palace of the Rising Sun.
6. Papa Loses His Patience (1989)
The Smurfs land in Spain and Brainy tests Papa Smurfs patience when he tries to help him with the Time Crystals. Determined to be of help. Brainy tries to create a potion to enhance Papa Smurf 's patience. The potion goes badly wrong and instead he sends Papa's Smurf 's patience flying into a local bull fighter.- Directors:
