- Melissa McCarthy stars in this US comedy directed by Theodore Melfi. After suffering an unimaginable loss, Lilly Maynard (McCarthy) is forced to process her grief alone while her withdrawn husband Jack (Chris O'Dowd) is confined to a mental health facility. Searching for a way to move on with her life, Lilly turns her attention to gardening and crosses paths with a territorial nesting starling, an encounter that leads her to seek help from eccentric psychologist Dr. Larry Fine (Kevin Kline).
