- During the Korean War, Sergeant Zack (Gene Evans) is helped by a young Korean orphan after heavy fighting infantry. Together they are a lost patrol of American soldiers, which, in exchange for a box of cigars. Sergeant offered to guide. They all find a Buddhist temple observation post become the artillery. and after settling in, they decide to use while waiting for reinforcements to attack enemies.
