A documentary produced by the Army Signal Corps and narrated by Ronald Reagan, it tells the story of the building of the Stilwell Road. A total of 63,000 workers worked on the 478 mile road between Assam in India to Ledo in Burma. During the second world war the road proved vital in keeping British, Chinese and Indian armies supplied for the long struggle against the Japanese.
