Through the mid-70s to early-80s, the name of UFO was synonymous with all that was great about British rock. After stars such as Humble Pie and Led Zeppelin had gone super nova, UFO followed in their wake and tradition, growing ultimately into a blinding light. 'Too Hot to Handle' gathers together a unique collection of classic archive action, live footage and interviews so that the story of UFO can be seen as well as heard. Stars of the show are inevitably the terrible twosome of singer Phil Mogg and bassist Pete Way, the driving force behind the band. German wunderkind Michael Schenker joined the band in 1974 and quickly brought the name of UFO to a worldwide audience with a stream of heart-stopping guitar solos. UFO records and gigs were timeless capsules of power and melody. When the band disintegrated, rock lost an essential force. When Mogg and Way reformed the band in 1991, together with guitarist Laurence Archer and drummer Clive Edwards, that force was reinvented. UFO sightings are a very special phenomenon drawing packed houses and rave reviews. Too Hot To Handle will show you why!
