A new era has dawned for European crime-fighting. Several key European countries have joined a co-operative police treaty preventing and fighting serious organised international crime. These small and flexible cross-border 'Joint Investigation Teams' are able to operate quickly without the restraints of bureaucracy and are authorised to take over and lead investigations. Harald Bjorn (Lars Mikkelsen) from Denmark, Jackie Mueller (Jasmin Gerat) from Germany and Alicia Verbeek (Veerle Baetens) from Belgium form one such team, as they unravel an unscrupulous criminal organisation in Europe. The investigation leads The Team across Europe, from Berlin to Copenhagen, from Antwerp to The Hague up to the Austrian Alps and over to Lithuania and reveals how organised crime cuts through and affects all layers of society. - Actors:

OK but a bit daft - The Team review by PW
All very slick but FULL of cliches. Also a little bemusing that despite this being a foreign-language production, the main characters communicate in English (obviously the shared language but feels a little deliberate).
