- "The Troubles: A Dublin Story" is based on true accounts of those involved. The Troubles is from the perspective of two working class brothers growing up in North Dublin in the 1970s and 80s who, far removed from the horrors of the Troubles in Northern Ireland, but shocked by the killings they witness on television, are naively drawn into the complex world of gangsterism, the inevitable falseness of the cause and the personal and moral costs that's needed.
