Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett were a comedy team whose talents complemented each other perfectly in a series that would run for 16 years and become part of British television history. From their introduction, "And in a packed programme tonight..." to the "Goodnight from him", viewers would savour the familiar features - the news items, party, doctor, tramp and yokel sketches, Ronnie Barker's speeches and the rambling monologues from Ronnie Corbett. The five episodes of this eleventh series were broadcast between February and March 1985 and contained all the usual quality sketches. The classic The Sheikh in the Grocery Store and the laugh-out-loud sketch where Charlie finishes Bert's sentences, are both featured along with many others. Mini dramas in Lliis series include Sunshine Boulevard and Tinker Tailor Smiley Doyle. Amongst the hilarious musical numbers are the sax players of Cliff Clive and the Jivers and Plop of the Flops. Elaine Paige is the guest singer throughout the series.
