Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett were an unlikely comedy team but their talents complemented each other perfectly in a series that would run for 16 years and become part of British television history. This second series was broadcast from September to November, 1972. It featured Georgie Fame and Alan Price as regular gusts and among the many highlights of the eight episodes were the Driving Test and the Rumours Nightschool sketches, a great send up of 'Come Dancing', the first appearance of Charley Farley and Piggy Malone in the serial 'Done To Death' ("Is Malone next for the chop, or will he end up with the steak and kidney pie?") and their famous cockney opera, 'Tooting Carmen'.
