Synopsis:
The Vampire Diaries is an American supernatural drama series based on the books by LJ Smith and starring Ian Somerhalder (Lost) and Nina Dobrev (Degrassi: The Next Generation), Vampire brothers, Stefan and Damon, return to their hometown of Mystic Falls after many years only for both of them to meet a girl named Elena who reminds them of a woman they both knew hundreds of years ago. The series follows the many dangers their return to Mystic Falls brings as well as the mystery of why Elena looks exactly like someone from the past.
