"The Weird World of LSD" features several vignettes that show the kind of people who take LSD and how they behave under its influence. First up a teenage boy takes a dose, lies on a couch and hallucinates a cartoon chicken! As he gets more into it, he begins to flap his wings - err, arms and his eyes roll around in his head. If he'd followed rule #1 of acid: light a drip candle and play an album of sitar music, he would have been fine. On the music front, the film does include a beatnik-type jazz soundtrack that fits nicely while watching young women on acid playing with, and behaving like, kittens! Yeah, like licking milk from a bowl and "cleaning" themselves! Or, how about a busty woman in a bar who uses scissors to cut off her blouse and then gets on the tabletop and dances. The guys in the next booth don't seem to mind. There's a fat guy who stuffs his face with food, the woman who is lost in room full of mannequins, and more!
