- Hanna (Miranda Cosgrove) and her father have arrived at Bear Mountain ranch, run by Frank's (Fred Ward)'s old flame Matty (Connie Sellecca), that runs along the borders of Utah and Nevada. Hanna has come to photograph the mysterious wild stallions that are rumoured to run across the rugged mountain terrain. But when Hanna and her new friend JC (Danielle C. Ryan) discover a plan hatched by the wealthy Mr. Novak (Robert Wagner) to rid the area of wild horses, the two girI's must turn to Matty for help before the legend of the stallions is lost forever!
