Peter Wright, who was trained by the world's most famous vet, James Herriot, now has 40 years' experience. He still works in Thirsk, seeing some long time clients from the days of his old mentor, but also embarks on exciting new adventures in Herriot Country. Working nearby in North Yorkshire, Peter's former partner Julian Norton is as busy ever with both farm animals and domestic pets in picturesque Boroughbridge. And Peter and Julian are joined by a team of young vets from a new animal hospital in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. All of them striving to do their very best to help all creatures, great and small.
