The second season starts two months after the first. It is winter. Jonna and Lasse have left, Oskar fits alone at the guest house. When Lasse returns from Stockholm, he meets a lonely and miserable Oskar. He has not prepared anything for the approaching Christmas season and fears he will never see Liv again. Together with Jonna, back from London, Lasse tries to get the guest house and his brother back in order. However, the conflicts quickly mount up again. In his misery, Oskar started a sexual relationship with his best friend, the priest Petra. He tries to keep it a secret, but Jonna finds out. She is in charge of the preparations for the Christmas season. However, there is not enough money for her precious ideas. Lasse has a different agenda. Although he has promised Jonna to improve, his criminal past catches up with him. He has been persuaded to accept a 'package' that is delivered by boat. When the boat arrives on a stormy night, it turns out to be deserted. In the cabin, Lasse discovers a bag with money and fresh blood traces. He takes the bag with him and sets the boat on fire. Meanwhile, we see an injured man crawling ashore.
