It was to be one of the last concerts from the legendary band: "Thin Lizzy". The trio from Dublin made see the the audience on the Loreley within the scope of the German music show Rockpalast in 1981. A rock encyclopaedia at the time wrote about the "dreamer, warrior, lover, story teller, peacemaker and rock legionnaire" Phil Lynott. The charismatic bassist, singer and composer had founded the Hardrock-Rhythm and Blues band together with Eric Bell and Brian Downey in 1969. 14 years later he broke up the band after continual coming and going of the guitarists.
