- thirtysomething is an American drama series about a group of baby boomers now in their mid thirties living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Starring a wealth of recognizable faces including Ken Olin and Mel Harris (as married couple Michael and Hope) the show contrasts the morals and choices of these now middle class yuppies with their roots in the peace movement of their 1960’s youth.
