- Vaclav Vorlicek's 1973 reworking of the classic Cinderella story is one of the most beloved of all Central European films. Lovingly restored to digital this European Christmas perennial favourite looks great as brightly coloured regal clothing shines in the winter back ground. An anachronistic for 1973 Cinderella shows signs of androgyny and female empowerment. Recommended!
