- Intrepid reporter Tom Merrick (Casper Van Dien) is writing a story about the major disasters of the twentieth century. When he discovers that the same man appears in photographs of each disaster over a 100-year period, Tom embarks on an incredible action-filled race against time to prevent a series of new disasters.
