Tom Kerridge, the only chef in the UK to run a pub with two Michelin stars, wants to show us how to cook dishes inspired by British pub classics. Pub food has come a long way in recent years and Tom wants to show us how to make these dishes at home. In each episode Tom will show us how to cook five recipes based on the occasions you might visit the pub for, ranging from celebratory food for special occasions, food to share with friends or family, to Great British Sunday lunches and real pub classics. There are twists on old favourites like Tom's treacle roast beef; comforting puddings like date and toffee pudding; boozy treats like gin and tonic granita and mussels cooked in ale and show stopping meals like turbot in puff pastry and roast duck with potato pancakes.
