Live performance by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers recorded in 2005 for a two-part Soundstage special on the PBS network. The band were formed in Florida in 1976 and remain active to this day, though a number of the group's members - most notably Petty - have also won acclaim as solo artists. The band play a number of songs from throughout their long career,as well as covers of tunes by Big Joe Williams, J.J. Cale and others.
