- Synopsis:
Following on from the huge success of Ronan Bennett's award winning first series we return to the Summerhouse estate a year later. Dushane (Ashley Walters) has finally made it as 'Top Boy', but the police are closing in on him for past crimes committed and he is separated from his old ally, Sully (Kane Robinson). As life on the estate collides with that of organised crime and corporate greed, tensions escalate. Dushane, facing attacks from ruthless gangs and an intensifying police investigation, needs Sully by his side to save their livelihoods - and their lives. Mirroring this is the story of best friends, Ra'Nell (Malcolm Kamulete) and Gem (Giacomo Mancini). Gem finds himself out of his depth and desperate in his attempt to deal drugs and has to turn to Ra'Nell for help.
