The silver lined times returned to Spurs with a season that saw the London club finally get there man as Juande Ramos, the successful Spanish manager agreed to come in and galvanise the players, sending them into the dream land by lifting the League Cup trophy. But it wasn t as simple as that, the league cup victory came with a demolition of their fiercest rivals Arsenal in the semi-final and defeat to another London club Chelsea in the final, if fans could write a dream scenario, this would be it. Once again the partnership between the Bulgarian Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane spearheaded the club to amass an incredible goals tally and support from the midfield and defense helped Spurs to success both domestically and another good showing in Europe.
