- Synopsis:
- An investigator is murdered while looking into the events leading to a million dollar bank job. One of his elosest friends, Father Charlie (Lino Ventura), vows to find the men responsible for the crime. His search brings him into confllict with the underworld and his life is saved only by the intervention of an ex-police sergeant who has been demoted to fool patrol because of suspected negligence. Together the priest and the cop join forces in a tight to have justice done.
