A double helping of farm machinery programmes. 'Ferguson Classics' is a look at the work of tractor supremo Harry Ferguson. Discussing Ferguson's initial links with David Brown, his association with Henry Ford, and the work carried out in the Massey-Ferguson period, the programme covers the great man's entire career and also includes a look at many of the implements designed to be used with Ferguson machines. Whilst in 'Allis Chalmers Classics' Malcolm Fleet and Brian Crudge look at the distinctive orange tractors that were made by the Allis Chalmers company - originally based in Milawaukee, USA, the company opened up assembly plants near Southampton and in Lincolnshire. Models looked at include the 18-30, the 'U',D270,D272 and ED40.
