One of the most inventive, important and influential bands to emerge from the psychedelic late-1960's, Traffic reunited in 1994 for an extended five month tour of the U.S., during which they played more than 75 shows to more than 500,000 people. Now, Traffic's musical travels have been superbly captured in the band's first live and behind-the-scenes. 'The Last Great Traffic Jam' features powerful live performance of 10 of the group's classics (including "Glad", "Forty Thousand Headmen", "John Barleycorn Must Die", and "Low Spark"), as well as a scintillating version of the supreme "Dear Mr. Fantasy", on which the band was joined by Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia. Additional highlights include Traffic's quintessential jam "Medicated Goo" and the haunting "Walking In The Wind". Live concert footage is interspersed with moments of true life on the road capturing, for the first time, the essence of the members of this historical and legendary band. The Last Great Traffic Jam stands as the definitive record, an essential souvenir of special times and performances.
