- ‘TURN: Washington's Spies’ is an American historical drama series that follows Abraham Woodhull (Jamie Bell) in his attempt to reunite with his childhood friends in order to form a group of spies dubbed as The Culper Ring. The show is set in 1776 during the American Revolutionary War and depicts The Culper Ring members’ actions, as they try to turn the tides of war in the battle of American independence.
