Synopsis:
Jennifer Paterson and Clarissa Dickson Wright are the unforgettable 'Two Fat Ladies', a pair of passionate cooks who travel the length and breadth of the United Kingdom creating fabulous meals for the people they meet on their travels. As they explore the country on their classic Triumph Thunderbird motorbike and sidecar, searching for the best ingredients for their delicious recipes, the Ladies get into all manner of hilarious adventures. Jennifer and Clarissa visit a wide array of destinations in Britain, from an army camp to a convent and from a brewery to Westminster Cathedral, bringing their unique brand of cooking, passion and eccentricity with them.
The Fat Ladies share a hatred of healthy eating and of political correctness - they loathe vegetarians and love lard, bacon fat, double cream, butter and dripping. Every recipe-packed programme ends with delightful banter as the pair look back on their day while Jennifer relaxes with a drink and a cigarette.
