Synopsis:
Spurs are renowned in the football world for being first to accomplish many things. One of these great and pioneering achievements is the inaugural winners of the UEFA Cup back in 1972 winning a 2 leg tie against fellow English team Wolverhampton Wanderers. The archive libraries have presumed extended highlights of both legs lost for years, but recently the full 90 minutes of the first leg, a crucial 2-1 win for Spurs at Molineux has been uncovered and we have the opportunity for the first time to make this final available to the fans. As well as showing the full 90minutes of the first leg we would also like to include on this special edition video the following: Alternative Video Commentary We sit down with goalscorer Martin Chivers and captain Alan Mullery to discuss the full match, both the action as it happens but also the anecdotal stories behind the final and the team at the time and the following 2nd leg. This will be mediated by Spurs fan and legendary commentator Barry Davies. Highlights of the 2nd Leg We have been able to uncover short highlights of the 2nd leg of the final (this is all that is available in our opinion) these highlights lasting approximately 5 minutes will be shown in their entirety. Picture Gallery photos of that years competition as well as stills of memorabilia from the games will be shown in an interactive picture slide show.
