Rent Ugly Betty (2006 - 2009)

Ugly Betty is an America comedy drama about the overweight Hispanic fashion-phobe Betty who has always dreamed of being a journalist. However, after working her way out of her working class roots in Queens, Betty is eventually offered a job as a Personal Assistant to the co-editor of Mode Magazine: one of the biggest fashion magazines in the world. Though she’s sure she’ll never fit in amongst the super skinny, oversexed and catty wannabe models and designers who also work in her office.
