Intent on MurderJohn Gacy was a twice married homosexual who was named 'The Killer Clown', because he dressed up as Pogo the Clown at Kid's parties. his standing in the community caused police to overlook him as a suspect in the disappearance of young men, until they found the remains of twenty eight bodies in his house. Gay Heidnik was emotionally threatened by women, so he sought to subject them to his will by imprisoning prostitutes as sex slaves in the pit of his house. Brutally torturing and raping them he kept them alive on dog food. When he murdered his first victim he fed her remains to his other prisoners. Known as 'The Stockwell Strangler', Kenneth Erskine had the mental age of an eleven year old. He preyed upon elderly ladies, strangling them and then sexually molesting them before he was caught with eleven probable victims to his name.
Death in the Country
William Cook was a serial killer that terrorised Middle America in the early 1950's. He had the words 'hard luck' tattooed across his fingers and committed the senseless murder of a whole family just for the fun of it. Gaston Dominici was a French peasant farmer who was convicted in 1951 of killing a top English scientist, Sir Jack Drummond, and two other members of his family. Dominici was pardoned in 1960 but the case is still surrounded in mystery as to what really happened in the French countryside. Angel Maturino Resendez evaded a FBI manhunt for over two years as 'The Railway Killer' because he stowed onto the freight trains that criss-crossed America. His nine suspected killings all took place near railway tracks as he hopped on and off trains to search for money, drugs and murder.
Trunk Murders
Ira Einhorn was a rebel icon of the psychedelic age whose nickname became 'The Unicorn Killer' because of his surname. His lover, Holly Maddux, disappeared and a few days later he asked friends to help him move a trunk containing 'secret documents'. The friends never helped him move the trunk. In 1934 a cloakroom attendant at Brighton station noticed the foul smell coming from a trunk in the left luggage department. The body of an unknown female victim led to the arrest of Tony Mancini after police investigated all women reported as missing. They found his lover's body inside another trunk at his lodgings. John Robinson committed murder and dismembered Minnie Bonati's body into five parcels. As he lived opposite a police station he decided to transport the body out in a trunk and deposit it at Charing Cross station's left luggage office.- Actors:
