In a surreal landscape between the perfect past and the imaginary future, people move aimlessly through life. A bizarre bank is covered in snow in the fog, parts, figures and unfinished buildings made of steel and concrete are scattered all over the place. In the background, the skeleton of a skyscraper rises. Significantly, the outstretched arm of a statue of Lenin points to nothing. Sasha (Viktoriya Korotkova), who has returned from abroad and whose late father owned a building site, must now find his way in this world, abandoned by old ideals and certainties. The Kyrgyz worker looking for his colleagues, the architect with bright red skin tones on his forehead and a tourist guide also allow insights into the state of mind of their country.
