"Under the Sea" was filmed in the exotic undersea locations around New Guinea, Australia and the Indo-Pacific ocean. This 3D IMAX adventure feature gives the sensation of actually being under the sea and face-to-face with strange and stunning creatures. The mysteries of the deepest oceans appear to come to life, floating around the theater. Inspirational and entertaining, the movie also emphasizes the impact of global warming and climate change on the earth's oceans, making a plea for people to realize what is happening to our oceans. Filming begins in the coral triangle around New Guinea and continues with the coral reefs of Southern Australia. Movie goers will get a close-up look at the venomous stonefish, poisonous sea snakes, a myriad of colorful fish and many other sea creatures. This movie is the next best thing to diving or snorkeling. Under the Sea was filmed in locations known to house more sea animals than anywhere else on earth.
