- Synopsis:
- Underbelly is an Australian drama series that chronicles fictional events that took place during the Melbourne gang war that took place from 1995 to 2004. The series follows the Carlton Crew, a group of criminals living in Melbourne trying to take as much territory and business as possible. Led by Alphonse Gangitano (Vince Colosimo), the crew tries to win one over on their enemies by any means necessary including theft, blackmail and murder. The crew try to keep things together but their enemies always seem to find a way to ensure they are always fighting.
