- Synopsis:
- On the verge of separation from his wife and crippled by harrowing writer's block, Richard Dunn (Daniels) takes an impulsive trip to a holiday cabin to try and find inspiration for a new book. However, with his only companion being an imaginary Superhero, Captain Excellent (Ryan Reynolds), solitude doesn't seem to do the trick. His luck soon seems to change whilst on a trip into the local town he meets and befriends Abby (Emma Stone), a young and attractive woman with a haunted past. The two quickly become an unlikely pair much to the disapproval of Captain Excellent.
