- This limited scripted true-crime series recounts the dual police investigations of Detective Greg Kading (Josh Duhamel) and Detective Russell Poole (Jimmi Simpson) into the infamous murders of Tupac Shakur (Marcc Rose) and Christopher Wallace, aka The Notorious B.I.G. (Wawy Jonez). Two of the most iconic and influential hip-hop artists of all time, Shakur and Wallace rose to prominence in the 1990's, fuelling a highly publicized coastal hip hop rivalry before they were gunned down in separate drive-by shooting incidents. The series examines Shakur and Wallace's complicated friendship, their enduring legacies and the many conspiracies surrounding their untimely deaths.
