Diana Purlow (Dina Meyer) is the brilliant and fiercely independent psychiatrist testing out a new, cutting edge technology on death row inmates. When she discovers an innocent inmate is about to be executed, she faces the sexual politics of being a woman in a mans world as she attempts to change one man's fate. A painful past with the Governor (Jeff Fahey) threatens to stop her, while her father-like kinship with Lance Henriksen further draws us into this engrossing tale.
