Rent Up the Women (2013 - 2015)

Up the Women is a British comedy television series. The series is created by, written by, and stars Jessica Hynes. It premiered in 2013, and is set in 1910. The series follows the women participants of the Banbury Intricate Craft Circle, who are wholly committed to the women’s suffrage movement. Their efforts are often hard, with not all of society agreeing with their cause. Additional cast and guest stars include Emma Pierson, Rebecca Front, and Adrian Scarborough, among others.
