- Synopsis:
- Flung off their train, small time con men Ben Hooker (Roy Clark) and Booger Skaggs (Mel Tillis) drag themselves into a sleepy 1916 Texas town. In a poker game, they're caught cheating by a tough, mysterious gambler. In the ensuing fracas, Booger is rescued by a smitten saloon girl and Ben escapes to the boudoir of the saloon/hotel owner, Ms. Jessie (Elaine Joyce). Unable to pay up the next morning, the boys are bounced from the hotel and must concoct a plan to get their hands on some money and to find a way out of the town - and straight into more trouble!
