After over 20 years apart, The Velvet Underground reformed for a seemingly impromptu performance at an exhibition in the early Nineties. However, this eventually led on to a worldwide tour in 1993, allowing the original line-up to play in Europe for the very first time. This video captures highlights from their three night residency at L'Olympia Theater, with Moe Tucker's dustbin lid drumming providing the backbone to Reed, Morrison and Cales' feedbacked nostalgia.
