In 1967, Gianni Garko (titular star of the Sartana series of westerns) and Claudio Camaso (A Bay of Blood) starred as bitter foes in '$10,000 Blood Money'. Released later the same year, director Giovanni Fago's 'Vengeance is Mine' - also known as '$100,000 for a Killing' - reteams Garko, Camaso and many of the same cast and crew, for an unconnected but thematically linked companion piece. This time, Camaso and Garko play half-brothers, Clint and John Forest - the former a rebel Confederate soldier, the latter the bounty hunter tasked with bringing him to justice. Little love is lost between the two estranged siblings. But with the gang of bandits he double-crossed hot on his tail, Clint is forced to put aside his differences and entrust himself into John's protection...at any rate, for the time being.
