Inspired by the memories of Eugène-François Vidocq (Bernard Noël), this series depicts the adventures of this former convict who became a police officer at the beginning of the 19th century...Vidocq and Annette (Geneviève Fontanel) want to marry. By seeking rings with Jacquelin (Paul Gay), they are separated from each other by police raid them. Annette soon visited by Louise meaning him that Francis was happy with her and she's Madame Vidocq. Annette desperate fled her home. Louise is really only the old woman of Francis. Vidocq makes search Annette by friends Schmoltz (Teddy Bilis) without news, he has an idea: getting arrested by the police for Annette occurs again.
