Virgin Machine (1988)

In this arty German drama, Dorthee (Ina Blum) is researching an article on the science and philosophy of romantic love. On a trip to San Francisco to connect with her mother, the young journalist plunges headfirst into the city's diverse sexual culture. But her research turns personal when she meets Ramona (Shelly Mars), a lesbian stripper and sex therapist who guides Dorthee through a sexual awakening. Sexuality expert Susie Bright co-stars.
