Rent Waking the Dead (2000 - 2011)

Waking the Dead is a British crime drama that revolves around the solving of cold cases, murder investigations that have been open for years. The series follows Detective Superintendent Peter Boyd (Trevor Eve) and profiler Grace Foley (Sue Johnston) as they reopen old cases when new evidence is brought to light. They use this to find fresh clues in an age of forensic science and DNA. The two make an odd team but through this partnership they solve multiple cold cases and bring many criminals to justice.
