Rent Waltons (1971 - 1981)

The Waltons is a classic US drama series set in 1930s Virginia during both the Great Depression and the 2nd world war. The series follows the Walton family. led by father John Walton Sr (Ralph Waite), a middle class family struggling to survive due to the harsh reality of the new America they are living in. The series follows the family as they attempt to work together running a local log mill to keep the family together. The series looks at the importance of family as well as the difficulties the depression caused for families just like The Waltons all over America.
