- Synopsis:
- Weeds is an American comedy drama series about house wife Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) who, following the sudden death of her husband tries desperately to find a way to keep her family afloat during times of a familial emotional and global economic crisis. The tragedy turns to black comedy when Nancy begins dealing drugs to college students and high ranking members of the local community. With a dose of expletives, violence and drug use Nancy and her sons Silas and Shane carry this family-un-friendly comedy successfully for seven drama filled seasons.
