- Synopsis:
- On the run from a deal gone bad, New York con-artist Teddy (Jonathan Schaech) winds up in the Australian outback and finds himself surrounded by an oddball collection of larrikins and misfits. Kidnapped by blonde sexpot Angie (Susie Porter), Teddy is taken to a mysterious township called Woop Woop where beer flows free and people swear loud, populated by a rough and tumble community with a fondness for Rodgers and Hammerstein music. With larger-than-life town patriarch Daddy-O (Rod Taylor) looking over proceedings it seems there is no easy escape for Teddy.
