- Lord Asbrey of Westender (Blake Stadel) was once a heroic and fearless knight who has mysteriously fallen from grace. Now he is a pale shadow of his former self living in poverty as a reckless drunk. During a night of debauchery he is attacked by brutal slavers and his most prized possession - a ring - is stolen. His only hope for redemption in his otherwise bleak existence lies in the prospect of recovering the ring at any cost. Bruised and beaten he pledges to hunt down the thieves. But Asbrey's quest leads him into more danger than he ever thought possible as he is forced to confront is his shadowy and mysterious past.
